Musings...

There is something that is bothering me...I know that postage, shipping & handling across the world is expensive...that is TOO bad because there is gorgeous product from all over. Here is this stunning paper from Studio-2-Mers, located in France. I got the name of the company from Nathalie Kahlbach while trying to locate her line of fabulous papers. I'm on a hunt for Nat's paper and also Birgit Koopsen's line...I will be back to post about their paperlines later. Even though the online boutique is in French I still was able to order what I wanted and shipping was cheaper than some companies here in the states.

Don't get me wrong...I do believe in supporting all US companies but as an artist it is so nice to work with some new & fresh ideas. I created this LO for Scrap-Matrix and was pleased as punch with the design. I really wish that the universe of scrapbookers could share products without it costing an arm and a leg...just a thought!

Feb. Tattered Angel Projects

So far my assignments for Tattered Angels Design Team have included wood, glass, canvas and now this month our assignment was to work with Tattered Angels paint products & metal. Yes...it works like a dream...another reason this is fast becoming a standard in multi-medium art work. Let me show what I created and you tell me what you think...

1st up is a canvas project called CREATE ART...check out the collage of metal pieces all covered with Tattered Angels Tar High Heel Chalkboard Glimmer MIst,Hayride & Mermaid Glimmer Glam

2nd up is called Butterfly Buddha...a candle lantern hanging around on the porch just screaming to be glamorized. Again Tattered Angels paint products to the rescue including several new Chalkboard Glimmer Mists and Glimmer Glam. The butterflies are all from Prima with a color wash of the same colors used on the lantern.

Last but not least is a metal Sun wind chime...all prettied up with several coast of Tattered Angels new & improved Chalkboard Glimmer Mist & Glimmer Glam.
