I'm really honored to be a part of this Artist Collaboration: Starting From the Same Place organized by the uber talented Tina Walker. The premise was simple...everyone who agreed to this collaboration received all the same materials that had to be used in the projects, we could add to it but couldn't subtract! Sounds easier than it turned out be. You can see all the products and materials we received in the photo below.
FIRST a big huge shout-out to these sponsors who graciously
helped in this collaboration!
I added a few of my go-to products also:
Prima Art Stones Large & Mini
Seashells
Pearls
Driftwood
Vintage Glass Glitter
Lampwork Bead
Brass Mermaid
My starting point.
So with all of these wonderful products I created
A DAY AT THE BEACH
Can you find the butterfly in this corner?
Relics & Artifacts Clam Shell resin blanks
Seashells & Coral
The project doesn't stop there. I've created a pocket to keep some of my personal photos from different beaches I've visited on the back of the wood frame.
The Stencil Girl stencil pattern was created by applying Art_C Wax Paste in Metallic Gold. I love the way it came out!
Thank you for stopping by! I encourage you to visit the different artists either through their blogs or on FaceBook. To see the different projects using the same products will be an interesting trip through various styles & original creative ideas.
