How can you RESIST Tattered Angels!

Hello-Hello! I've been somewhat missing in action but I'm back from Summer CHA in Chicago, Il. and a wonderful trip to Dunedin, Fl. It is now time to reclaim my artistic life and the start of a new chapter at the same time...being retired. I have so much planned and one is to re-do my blog and really get into blogging not just with what I make but how the world inspires me. So stay tuned!
For now I would like to share Part 2 showcasing projects displaying different RESIST TECHNIQUES and Tattered Angels. In my last post I shared a Canvas Corp Canvas mini-journal that I’m working on. I want to share another page in this fabric journal.
On this page I used a 2 part stamp to create the butterfly resist and also on the Canvas Corp pocket tag.  I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Gathered Twigs and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder to create my resist. The Julie Balzer Clear Stamp BUTTERFLIES Set is a collaboration with Impression Obsession Stamps along with a matching TCW Mini Layered Butterflies stencil.

Materials Used: The Crafters Workshop Balzer Stencil ~ Mini Layered Butterfly, Claudine Hellmuth Studio Matte Medium Matte, Tim Holtz Distress Ink, Canvas Corp Canvas Mini Journal and Pocket Tag, Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive, Tattered Angels Chalkboard Glimmer Mist~Sandy BeachGlimmer Mist ~ Post Card , Gilded Gold, Silk, Sun Sisters, Pumpkin Spice, Moss & Verdigris.
Here is  one of the 6×6 Canvas Corp canvases I created for CHA using another TCW starburst stencil on burlap. After using gesso to create the resist I applied Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam in Night Sky, black tulle and of course some bling to dress it up…Black Tie Night.
I hope you will stop back and see what I'm planning, creating, playing...being retired!!!
